Life is fair because it is unfair to everyone.
Just like everyone else, I always say that “life is unfair.” Each one of us has our own share of experiences as to why we say that life is indeed unfair to us.
However, tonight I realized how life can be so ironic too. If life is really unfair and everybody can attest to that, does it make life fair considering the blatant fact that it is unfair to everyone?
Yes. I think so. I never met anyone who said otherwise. I never met anyone who said that their life is perfect. Perfection is definitely unattainable no matter how much we try to live our lives well.
We often look up to people who are rich, talented, intelligent, famous, and beautiful and we often say that they have the best things in life. We often forget that they are still humans who can’t own the world.
So, after pondering upon this thought, I realized that I should stop using the cliche “life is unfair.” And instead of fretting about the things which I cannot change, I’ll try to live my life to the fullest and to always have a positive outlook in life (although right now I find it hard to be optimistic.)
Life is unfair. Life is fair. Life is ironic. Blah. I’m getting tired of all these cliches! We all have one shot at life so we must make the most out of it!
